Plugin Commander
Plugin Commander is a plugin management plugin for WPMU, released under GPL.
It allow you to do the following things:
- Mark any plugin in the plugins directory to be automatically activated for new blogs.
- Mass activate or deactivate a plugin for all existing blogs
- NEW: Choose which plugins users can activate and deactivate through Manage->Plugins, for this to make sense you need to disable the built-in plugins menu (through Site Admin->Options->Menus)
IMPORTANT
A serious bug in the auto-activation have been found, the bug cause auto-activation to work only for existing users that registers a blog, and fails when a user registers a blog and a user together.
This appears to be caused by a bug in WPMU, I am working to resolve it with the WPMU team.
A simple temporary workaround is described in ticket #510.
