FireStats can monitor access to your Joomla installation.

Installation

  • Install FireStats somewhere on your web server as Standalone.
  • Install firestats-joomla-1.X.zip, both 1.0 and 1.5 are Included in the FireStats Download), use the one that matches your Joomla version.
  • For Joomla 1.0
    • Edit /YOUR_JOOMLA/mambots/system/firestats-joomla-1.0.php, change the define('FS_PATH','/www/firestats-dev') to match your FireStats location

  • For Joomla 1.5
    • Unzip the downloaded Firestats
    • You'll find 2 files in your unzipped Firestats under integration/joomla/joomla-1.5. Zip them, so the paths will look like this:

    • Go to your joomla installation and install the zip you just created trough Extension -> Install/Uninstall?
    • Go to the Extension -> Plugin manager and locate FireStats plugin
    • Click it, and on the next page that shows up, first check, that plugin is enabled, then edit parameters on the right side to suite your Firestats installation
  • That's it! Your Joomla hits will now be monitored by FireStats.
