Description (last modified by omry) (diff)

Hi there!

FireStats works fine, but I'm unable to make any configuration. When I select Setting, Wordpress Settings etc., only the footer line appears. No tables for editing the configuration...

Thank you for support! Michael

Hi Michael, A few questions:

  • What does the diagnostics page say?
  • What is your PHP memory limit?
  • Anything in the server error log after you access the settings page?
  • Which browser?

Hi omry!

The Diagnostcs page is working fine. I have no idea about the php memory limit :-/ In the settings menu the following message appears:

FireStats 1.5.12-stable If you have any problems or questions, please visit the FireStats homepage

No error log information Browsers are Firefox, Safari and IE

Greetings. michael

please attach a screen shot of the diagnostics page.

Hi Omry!

I have sent the screenshots via email, because here I cannot add attachements. Inside Firestats tooltap the same textmessage appears.

»FireStats 1.5.12-stable If you have any problems or questions, please visit the FireStats homepage«.

No other menus, tables or information.

Michael,

you sent the wrong screen shot. Please open the Tools tab inside FireStats, and inside it click on the "Open" button next to the text "System diagnostics page".

what does the window opened says?

Changed 2 years ago by admin@…

Omry,

the Tool tab does'nt show up. It only shows the same Message as above.

No "Open" Button, no "System Diagnostic Page", only the Footer. The Statistic Button is the only Button, that opens the Screen.

Sorry!

here is a link to your diagnostics page.

as you can see, it's also not working.

the function it can't find is defined inside firestats-wordpress.php.

  • can you see it there? (line 227).
  • is Firestats active in the WordPress plugins page right now?

Changed 2 years ago by michael

Omry,

here is the line 227 in the firestats-wordpress.php

"function fs_full_installation()"

Yes! Firestats is active.

Sorry Omry,

the Installation of Firestats is within http://www.literatussis.com/blogs/wp-content/plugins/firestats

Changed 2 years ago by omry

what is the relation between that installation and the installation at http://www.literatussis.com/wp-content/plugins/firestats ?

Changed 2 years ago by michael

Hi Omry!

http://www.literatussis.com/wp-content/plugins/firestats is the main installation in the root directory. http://www.literatussis.com/blogs/wp-content/plugins/firestats is a WPMU installation within /blogs. Do I have to migrate to PHP 5?? Actually the server has installed PHP 4,0???

Michael

There is a different problem with the installation at http://www.literatussis.com/wp-content/plugins/firestats.

the http://literatussis.com/blogs/wp-content/plugins/firestats/tools.php?file_id=system_test diagnostics page here] says that your PHP version is okay, but your mysql version is old.

this is not a critical problem and FireStats should work correctly.

  • please email me your phpinfo page.
  • ask your server administrator how you can access the apache error logs.
