Check your server error log for any php related errors.

I would guess that this is a memory related problem, what is your current php memory limit?

try to increase it.

php memory was at 32m, I set it to 128 and still nothing.

what does the diagnostics page say? (FAQ).

Changed 2 years ago by anonymous

That page wont load, it just stays blank. Nothing about that in the error logs

try to upload your FireStats again, I think you may have missed a few files.

if this is the case, using the FireStats installer will prevent problems like this. but lets focus on the problem at hand first.

When I click the diagnostic button, it opens up a page and then asks me to download bridge.php

Changed 2 years ago by omry

this looks like a server configuration problem or an error that would appear in the server log. see if you see anything in the server error log after you get this behavior.

I went ahead and deleted all the tables and did a fresh install of 1.5.4RC2, but I still get the download bridge file. I'll check the logs and post again.

I went ahead and found your blog to check what's going on.

looks like you get an internal server error when you access the system test page. try (on a Linux box) to access the system test url with the HEAD command.

$ HEAD http://-----------/wp-content/plugins/firestats/tools.php?file_id=system_test
500 Server closed connection without sending any data back
Content-Type: text/plain

Client-Warning: Internal response

Internal server errors should be logged. let me know what you find in the logs.
